| If you know your HTML, remove header and sidebar and choose theme "Blank Slate". You can then do pretty much whatever you want except obscure the google boilerplate text at the bottom. You can even add CSS using the style= parameter, but you can't use negative margin values. You can, however, get pixel precise placement and remove all the dorky borders and silly stuff.

| You can get a domain name and link it to your google site. You just add the web address on the More Actions > Manage Site page and then change the CNAME record with the registrar to point to ghs . google . com
