| That's exactly the problem with interviews. It just involves too much subjective judgments on people's ability to perform and to fit in - which can be wrong, and people can change over time. I say we scrap this interview crap and substitute them with some kind of tests.

| One of the keys to be successful in an interview is to speak only about what's necessary. In the end of the answer I was thinking: "wow! Can we go back to the question again?"Talk objectively and briefly.It started well but then after 30 seconds it just went downhill. But that's is just me, maybe you can find an employer that will like that...

| good luck for ur interview. Well ur probably a graduate with some experience so yeah they will ask u technical questions. Im just a 3rd year college student going on work placement so the questions were'nt that bad. However i was asked about some instruments n chemistry techniques. Anyways its over now! | lol yah I am a bit nervous too but I hope I will be able to cool it this coming monday, I have an interview for the position of Microcomputer Support technician and I am not sure if there just gonna give me questions about myself, courses and probably why am i the best candidate for this position, not sure if there gonna throw in some technical questions too probably there is 7 others at the same interview and there is 15 minutes in between I hope I don't get too many.

| libyafor2010thanks for that. I thought my interview was a disaster! i prepared for all these questions and they didn't ask me any of them! They asked me stuff about myself, my course, my studies, my assignments and all that. Their very first question was "why did u choose this course"? and i was like oh crap wtf! lolTurned out i actually gave good answers and i am selected for the job in Roche pharmaceuticals. yaaayyyy!! I can't really believe it! Im delighted!! But scared of interviews!

| Its not hard ofcourse everyone all of a sudden is a little nervous but dont think it as being troubling its natural like talking to my best buddy that will boost your self esteem and confidence and your potential in giving your best speech. Try it but also practicing and knowing how will give you a boost up. just follow what I said and come back and tell me you got the job!!! lol 100% sure

| Don't worry about it, just practice it will come naturally I have one on Monday too just be smooth as with school presentations, think of them as friends,family their not here to hurt you or interrogate you just to know more about you. How would you explain your qualities, personality to others? How would you relate that to what your doing at work school etc
