Chameleon
My chameleon showing off his incredible color (his name is Mr. Been). I had him ever since he was a hatchling. This vid. shows him when he was about 7 months. If you notice a strip of black on his crest is because he got too close to his basking light so it burnt him a bit. It now has a scab and is healing. Do make sure if you have a cham. with a burn any where to take him immediately to the vet. enjoy Author:

My Veiled Chameleon Setup
My first veiled chameleon in its new home that I made just for him. He is getting a bit more comfortable now that everything is set up an running properly (I hope). The UVB stays up for about 9 to 10 hours. The blue heat light stays on for about the same time as the UVB light. The red heat light is for night time use only and is shut down at around 9am. Humidity level is about 80% most of the time but does go down to 70%. Temperature throughout the day is 70 F ( 20 C) and drops to 65 F at night. Author:
